What's in a Name ? Born Jonah Moananu becoming bigMOX (circa 2000) then evolving to Jackson Helm (circa 2008) Why the fickle alias's & what do they mean? Mox - Used in the first emcee battle he ever entered & won at B-Boy Reunion in 2000. Mox being short for the mob term "moxie" which means aggressive energy; initiative, having guts or balls... Big Mox - the "Big" got dubbed by the people through sheer observation of size. Thus the name Big Mox was dawned from battle to battle both locally and on the mainland. Jackson Helm - It's his un-official adult film name coming from a combination of his middle name "Jackson" and the street he grew up on in San Diego, CA "Helm" street. What's the reason behind the new surname? Reinvention and evolution of my creative "selves". Mos is in constant redefinition. Through gained experience and refinement of skills, he seeks to not be stuck to doing on type, genre, or style of music. Doesn't Look like the name are stopping anytime soon either!
